BREAKING: VP Change Announcement Shocks GOP – Trump Says…
“The View” co-host Meghan McCain just made a bold prediction about President Trump’s Vice President pick in 2020.
McCain said Friday that President Trump will replace VP Mike Pence with former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley.
While Democrats discuss who Joe Biden will pick as his running mate, some in the Republican party are considering the possibility of a new VP.
McCain said, “I still think, though, that if [Biden] chooses a woman, then Trump is going to kick Pence out and put in Nikki Haley,” McCain said. “Because I think they’ll go toe-for-toe and they’re going to be like, ‘You want to identity politics me? I’ll identity politics you.’ And I just … think they’re gangster.”
It is almost a foregone conclusion that Biden’s VP will be a woman. The “old white men” label that Democrats have demonized so heavily applies too well to them.
However, at this time it seems unlikely President Trump will sacrifice a staunch ally in Pence just to play the identity politics game.
