Hillary Clinton a Top Veep Choice For Democrat Candidates: Report

There has long been speculation over whether Hillary Clinton will enter the presidential race, either as a candidate herself at a brokered Democratic convention — or as the running mate to a current White House hopeful.

Now, the results of a new report on betting odds are shedding some serious light on the matter.

According to the Washington Examiner, it was only a week ago that “one betting aggregator said [Clinton] was a distant 25–1 shot, and 12th on a list that put her behind an Ohio state senator.”

Now, the Examiner notes, “another betting site has the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee with a 16–1 shot and fifth in line.”

Indeed, the former secretary of State “has roared back into the public spotlight with a new Hulu feature,” the Examiner reported.

Others who came in with good odds at being the VP pick included Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Stacey Abrams, and Elizabeth Warren. Clinton, for her part, is ranking above common contenders like Pete Buttigieg and Michael Bloomberg.

There have been no official confirmations about a vice president selection for either Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders, but it’s clear Clinton is still in the mix.
